⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Every year I do something different and creative for presents for the holidays. This year I wanted to make paperweights that resembled glass without the huge expense of having all the tools for blowing glass. So I used this resin in molds to shape 3-dimensional paperweights. I cast one mold and allowed that to dry then placed that molded item into another. Worked perfectly! Dried perfectly clear just like glass and has just enough weight to it to serve its purpose. In the first mold I mixed in glitter with the mixture and it took really well with no issue. The second mold with the glittered pieces added was simply clear. No bubbles or anything. I would highly suggest that you use fresh cups each time you make your mix to make sure you are getting the proper measurements of both parts so it forms as it should. If you use this as I did to create something in a mold, allow for 72 hours of dry time before you release the mold. I used silicone molds so it was easy to release them when they were dry without having to use a releasing agent. If you use a solid mold, you may want to get a releasing agent to remove your formed shape. The 2-gallon mixture makes 72 - rectangular molds that measure 3.5 inches long, 2.25 inches wide by 2 inches deep.- navybrat1976

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Get the proportions right and mix, mix, mix. I read a lot of complaints about this product, but still wanted to try it as it represents a lot of value for the money. This product seems to be a little less forgiving if you make mistakes when combining the two parts.The first time I used this product I measured small equal parts (1/4 cup) by volume as per the instructions and combined them by mixing with a stick for about 5 minutes. The resulting mixture was runny, took a long time to dry, and felt a little sticky for a day or so after.Despite the problems observed in this initial test I decided to give it a try as a larger batch. My second attempt I mixed up a batch that used 1/2 of each bottle and mixed for 5 minutes using a power drill with a paddle attachment. This time the resin came out a lot less runny, dried more quickly, but still had a sticky feel for a day after being used.I think mixing up a larger batch was more forgiving of any miss measurement of the proportions. Using the drill probably resulted in more agitation and a more even mixture than could be achieved by using a paint stick and mixing by hand.In short it represents good value for the money, but you should conduct a few experiments before using it on something important. - Don
